Get more categories

Sometimes it’s hard to see where to cut back on spending when a category like “Eating Out” has lots of charges. Well now, under the “Eating Out” category, you can create subcategories like “Fast food” or “Work lunches.”

Track your business expenses

Add subcategories like “supplies” or “business trip to NY ” to separate out your business expenses from personal expenses.

Set budgets for your subcategories

Set budgets for subcategories from your account dashboards. Categories and subcategories appear on your Dashboards if their charges add up to more than 4% of your total spent.

Add multiple subcategories

Create several subcategories at once by tapping on the three-dot icon on your Dashboard (top right); tapping on “Settings”; tapping on “Edit Categories”; and tapping on the + icon next to an existing category.

Edit your subcategories

Added a subcategory, but want to edit the name or icon? Just tap on the three-dot icon on your Dashboard (top right); tap on “Settings”; tap on “Edit Categories”; tap on the three-dot icon next to the subcategory; tap on “Edit”; and tap on “Update” to save your changes.
